Eine Übernachtung In einer unserer Schutzhütten ist die beste Art und Weise, um die rosaroten Sonnenaufgänge und die glühend roten Sonnenuntergänge zu bewundern.
Das Delicious-Team organisiert Frühstück in den frühen Morgenstunden, Aperitifs und Abendessen in grosser Höhe, damit die Gäste dieses Schauspiel in vollen Zügen genießen können.
In Col Gallina kann man den Himmel sogar von mobilen, komfortablen Zimmern mit Glaswänden aus bewundern. Es heißt "Starlight Room Dolomites" und und sind so entworfen worden, dass man die ganze Nacht über den Himmel beobachten kann, der sich je nach Uhrzeit ändert:
Am Abend erstrahlt die Landschaft in glühend rotem Licht, während der Nacht leistet das Licht der Sterne und des Mondes Gesellschaft, das Morgengrauen taucht die Berge am Falzarego-Pass, den Lagazuoi, die Tofana di Rozes und den Hexenstein, in ein zartes rosarotes Licht.
Das sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen!
Einer antiken Legende zufolge waren die Dolomiten einst völlig mit roten Rosen übersät und bargen reiche Schätze. Inmitten dieser Rosen lebte ein Volk von Gnomen unter dem König Laurin.
Das Königreich war weder durch Mauern noch durch Palisaden geschützt, sondern nur mit einem dünnen Seidenfaden abgegrenzt.
Eines Tages wurde der Herrscher dieses Reiches gefangen genommen und eingesperrt.
Die Schuld dafür wurde den Rosen zugeschrieben, die mit ihrer strahlenden Farbe die Feinde angelockt hatten.
Der König beschloss deshalb, mit einem Zauberspruch den ganzen Garten zu versteinern, damit die Rosen weder am Tag noch bei Nacht gesehen werden konnten.
Allerdings vergaß Laurin dabei die Dämmerung und deshalb kann man noch heute, wenn die Sonne untergeht, den roten Widerschein jenes verwunschenen Gartens bewundern….
