On the saddle Forcella Nuvolau, between the 5 Torri and the Falzarego Pass, the Averau Refuge offers guests an excellent Mountain Cafė service. Surrounded by pure nature and the incomparable beauty of the Dolomite peaks, the panorama terrace and the brand new kiosk are the perfect places to enjoy a sweet or savoury snack or a quick light meal.
The hut keepers propose sweet snacks such as strudel, fruit tarts, Prosecco cake, Ricotta cheesecake and yoghurt mousse. Those who prefer a salty light meal can enjoy cold cuts and/or cheese platter, lard with crostini or savoury quiches. A great tip is the ‘Salmonato’ bread roll with stracciatella cheese, smoked salmon, valerian salad and half-dried cherry tomatoes.
