We invite you to visit the Lagazuoi 5 Torri area, a perfect combination of nature and history, in one of the most beautiful areas of the Dolomites.
On these mountains an incredible war was waged between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies.
As a memorial to those tragic events, the most extensive museum of the First World War has been set up, consisting of the open-air museums of Mt. Lagazuoi, the 5 Torri, the Sasso di Stria and the museum of the Tre Sassi Fort.
The museum area extends over a range of 5 kilimetres, introducing visitors to the background of the dramatic events of WW1 in the mountains, on one of the most breathtaking walks in the Dolomites.
