The short and easy ascent from the Scoiattoli refuge to the Averau refuge provides a breathtaking view of the Cortina Delicious area towards the Giau pass and Val Fiorentina, characterized by the giant mountains Civetta and Marmolada.
Both mountain refuges are known for their excellent cuisine and are worth a stop: for lunch, for a snack or dinner, when the Dolomites shine pink in the Alpenglow (Enrosadira).
