The Col Gallina ski runs

A short distance from the Falzarego Pass, you'll find the sunny Col Gallina ski area boasting two lift facilities - a ski lift and a chair lift - for easy access to the slopes of Mt. Lagazuoi, 5 Torri, and the Giau Pass, as well as to the Super8, Averau Troi and Great War ski tours. The ski runs are great for beginners, too. The Ovest 6 Col Gallina piste is equipped with a speed tracking system for competitions.

Ski lift Col Gallina

At a short distance from the Falzarego Pass and about 20 minutes away from the centre of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Col Gallina ski lift serves a slope that, thanks to the morphology, altitude and exposure, is ideal for relaxed skiing and families with children.

This lift takes skiers up to a height of 2311 m, where a wonderful panorama of the entire surrounding area opens up.

From the ski area Col Gallina you can reach the Lagazuoi cable car and thus the entire Lagazuoi ski area as well as the 5 Torri-Giau area.

Falzarego chair lift at Col Gallina - The Ovest Col Gallina 6 slope

The Col Gallina ski piste, with its three-person chairlift, leads down on a very sunny slope. It is one of the access points and a stage of the Super8 Ski Tour, which, with an 8-shaped route, leads through the whole Cortina Delicious area in three hours, offering breathtaking landscapes, easy slopes and panoramic terraces at high altitude.

When it is not reserved for races or training sessions, groups of skiers who want to compete against each other can use SPEEDY, a radar timing system that calculates the racing time on a specific stretch of the slope.

The valley station of the chair lift offers with free Wi-fi.

COL GALLINA SKI TRAINING CENTRE

The competition slope Ovest 6 Col Gallina is homologated for national giant slalom races in the Baby and Cubs categories and all slalom categories.

The international approval of the slope applies to slalom races in the Masters category.

It is equipped with an automatic time measurement that records the speed of descent of all those who want to put themselves to the test between the gates.

On reservation, this slope is available for training, corporate competitions or ski club races.
The Ovest slope can be reserved for special slalom and giant slalom training with a maximum of 5 descents.
