A 24-hour walk through the Cortina Delicious area, located between the passes Giau and Falzarego, accompanied by the mountain guides
From 27th July at 8 p.m. to 28th July 2024 at 6 p.m.
Hike in the dark under a starry sky, accompanied by the rustling of the woods... Climb up on the paths of the Dolomites... Stop off in the refuges of the Delicious Trail Dolomiti, where guests are welcome even at the most unusual times...
Cortina’s mountain guides have developed this proposal: a Slow Trekking which is to be understood as a path of self-reflection, as a way of sensual contemplation of creation from sunset to dawn and further on until the evening of the following day, walking through the most beautiful mountains.
A trekking tour in full safety, treated calmly with no timetable - apart from the departure time - and with the accompaniment of the greatest experts in this area: Cortina’s mountain guides.
Route
The trail winds through the area of the trail running event Delicious Trail Dolomiti - which this year will take place on 28th September 2024 for the 8th time - and includes all refuges involved in the trail running event Delicious Trail Dolomiti: a great sporting event brought about with the aim of enhancing the historical, natural, mountaineering and gastronomic heritage of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The Delicious Slow Trekking is a foretaste of the Delicious Trail Dolomiti. Since part of the route will be covered by night under the stars, obviously the atmosphere is quite different. However, the time doesn’t change in no way the traditional, warm hospitality that made famous the refuges of the area Delicious Cortina, organizers of both events.
Where expected, the participants can make a stop and enjoy snacks, breakfasts and lunches while admiring the sky and the wonders of creation from dawn to dusk.
Along the route, participants will find refreshment points also during the night.
