Guided tour of the Lagazuoi WW1 Open-air Museum
with a historical re-enactor
More than a century after the end of the First World War, a re-enactor brings to life the events of the Great War on Mount Lagazuoi, the scene of tragic battles between the Italian and Austro-Hungarian armies. The tour helps us to understand the tangible dimension of history. The historical re-enactors wear uniforms in memory of those who have contributed to peace, as an expression of the will that such atrocities should never be repeated, and as a reminder to people of their responsibilities in the present because of the recent past.

Daily until 1st September, then every weekend by prior reservation until 20th October.
Departures from the terrace of the Lagazuoi cable car top station at 9.30 a.m., 11.30 a.m. and 2 p.m..
