TERRITORY
The competition with prizes will take place in the area of the Super8 Ski Tour in the municipalities of Cortina d’Ampezzo, Colle Santa Lucia and Badia and is open to all comers.
LANGUAGE
The languages of communication are Italian and English. In case of complaint, the Italian version must be referred to.
DURATION
Period of participation: the competition will take place from Sunday 4th February 2024 to Monday, 1st April 2024.
Allocation of prizes: by Monday, 29th April 2024.
RECIPIENTS OF PRIZES
The above-mentioned photo and video competition is open to all keen photographers and video makers with a passion for the mountains and skiing.
AIMS OF COMPETITION
The Super8 Ski Tour boasts breathtaking views of the most famous peaks of the Dolomites of the Cortina d’Ampezzo and Alta Badia valleys in the Lagazuoi 5 Torri Giau area. The SUPER8 SKI TOUR PHOTO & VIDEO REEL COMPETITION aims to promote the beauty of nature and the sporting attractions of this ski route by circulating the participants' reels and photos. The competition also aims at sharing the emotions and the unique, original and thrilling moments experienced by those taking part in the Super8 Ski Tour.
The reels and photos sent will be used exclusively for promotional purposes by the Delicious Cortina consortium, the tourist and cable car operators associations of Cortina d’Ampezzo and Alta Badia and may be posted on social networks and the internet. The pictures could also be utilised in the printed catalogues of the Delicious Cortina consortium, the tourist and cable car operators associations of Cortina d’Ampezzo and Alta Badia and exhibited, either permanently or temporarily, in the refuges, at the lift facilities of the Super8 Ski Tour and in the cultural centre Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti. The name of the person whose photos or videos are used will always be quoted, in the printed catalogues and/or on the web.
COMPETITION CATEGORIES
The contest includes photos or reels for the following categories:
• Photos - photographic images in which the author is not photographed, whose themes are the landscape, the emotions of the environment, the panorama, the services and everything of interest along the route of the Super8 Ski Tour.
• Reels – video recordings in vertical format up to 15 seconds in length whose content aims to show the landscape, the emotions of the environment, the panorama, the services and everything of interest along the Super8 Ski Tour route.
• Sports adventure – photos or reel vertical videos specifically of sports and in the snow, exclusively in the 5 Torri / Giau area, including off-piste, climbing, snowshoeing, freeride and ski touring activities.
NATURE AND VALUE OF THE PRIZES
Three prizes will be awarded, one to every first classified in each category: photos, reels and sports adventure (photos or reels).
The prize for the categories photos and reels consists of a two-night stay for two people in a double room with half board (room, breakfast and evening meal), in the hotels and mountain refuges taking part, when they are open, from Friday 7th June 2024 to Sunday 22nd September 2024, excluding the month of August. The price for the sports adventure category (photos or reels) is a day in the Lagazuoi-5 Torri-Giau area accompanied by a mountain guide of the mountaineering school Guide Alpine Cortina d'Ampezzo. The prize can be redeemed from Friday 7th June 2024, to Sunday 22nd September 2024, August excluded.
The winners' works will also receive a special mention and wide exposure on the websites and social networks of the Delicious Cortina consortium and the tourist associations of Cortina d’Ampezzo and the Alta Badia consortium.
The jury will also choose a second, a third, a fourth and a fifth classifier for each category. These works will receive a special mention and wide exposure on the websites and social network of the Delicious Cortina consortium, the tourist and cable car operators associations of Cortina d’Ampezzo and Alta Badia, and may be displayed permanently or temporarily at the mountain refuges, hotels, and lifts of the Super8 Ski Tour and the cultural centre Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti.
The total prize money for the competition is 1.710,00 euros (one thousand seven hundred and ten euros) plus VAT and is in the form of the following prizes:
Prize for the reels section: a stay of two nights for two in a double room with half board (room, dinner and breakfast) in one of the participating hotels and mountain refuges, to the value of 680,00 euros, VAT not included.
Prize for the photo section: a stay of two nights for two in a double room with half board (room, dinner and breakfast) in one of the participating hotels and mountain refuges, to the value of 680,00 euros, VAT not included.
Prize for the sports adventure category (photos or reels): a day in the Lagazuoi-5 Torri-Giau area accompanied by a mountain guide of the mountaineering school Guide Alpine Cortina d'Ampezzo, to the value of 350,00 euros, VAT not included.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The competition has three participation sections: photos, reels, and sports adventure (reels and photos), with an award for each category, in addition to the special mentions listed above.
The prizes will be allocated to the winning photos and reels on the basis of the incontestable judgement of the jury.
All those wishing to participate in the competition must send reels and/or photos of sporting attractions, panoramic views, mountain refuges or ski stations situated along the Super8 Ski Tour and the unique, original and thrilling moments experienced by those taking part in the Super8 Ski Tour from Sunday, 4th February 2024 to Monday, 1st April 2024.
The participants can send up to a maximum of 5 (five) photos and/or reels in vertical format for each category.
The pictures sent can be of a resolution suitable for the web but must be of a high resolution for possible utilization on paper.
The photos and the reels must be sent exclusively to the e-mail address info@cortinadelicious.it.
The video recordings - in vertical format up to 15 seconds in length - must be sent exclusively to the e-mail address info@cortinadelicious.it.
The e-mails with the attached photos or reels must contain the e-mail address to which possible communications are to be sent and the phone number, name of author, title, place and date of the work.
Participants who are under 18 years of age must have the written consent of their parents or legal guardians with a personal declaration of authenticity, to be sent by registered post with receipt of delivery to the organising secretary (Consorzio Delicious Cortina, via del Mercato 14, Cortina d'Ampezzo 32043 (BL) or by PEC (certified post) to this address deliciouscortina@pec.it
Only photos and reels relating to the route of the Super8 Ski Tour will be submitted to the judgment of the jury.
Those submitting or uploading material considered as being indecorous, obscene, violent or offensive to common decency or in any case not in line with the spirit of the competition will be excluded from the competition at the incontestable decision of the Promoter.

Any material arriving later than that date will not be taken into consideration.
COST OF PARTICIPATION
Participation in the competition is free, apart from the normal cost of connection to the internet, which is to be borne by the participant.
The promoter can accept no responsibility whatsoever for any problems of access, impediment, dysfunction or difficulty regarding the technical instruments, computer, telephone line, transmission and connection, or internet connection that may prevent an applicant from entering the competition.
IDENTIFICATION OF WINNERS
The prizes will be awarded according to the incontestable judgement of the jury.
The selection criteria of the jury will be based on a qualitative evaluation of the relevance to the theme of the competition, originality and quality of the work.
The winner of each section will be chosen by Monday, 29th April 2024, in the presence of the delegate of the Chamber of Commerce of Belluno.
The second and third classifiers will be offered the prize in turn should it prove impossible to trace the first classifier.

The winner can designate his prize to a person or persons chosen by him by sending a registered letter with receipt of delivery to the organising secretary by midnight of Monday, 6th May 2024 (Consorzio Delicious Cortina, via del Mercato 14, Cortina d'Ampezzo 32043 (BL) or by PEC (certified post) to the following address: deliciouscortina@pec.it
If the winner does not communicate his acceptance of the prize by midnight of Monday, 6th May, the prize will be given to the second classifier. If the second classifier does not communicate acceptance of the prize by midnight of of the sixth day after the prize notification has been sent, the prize will be given to the third classifier. If the third classifier does not communicate acceptance of the prize by midnight of the sixth day after the prize notification has been sent, the prize will be given to the non-profit organisation FONDAZIONE MAGICA CLEME ONLUS – Headquarters: Via San Gottardo 83 - 20090 Monza - MB - P. LOCATION OF PRIZE-GIVING
The prizes will be presented in the presence of the official of the Chamber of Commerce for Industry, Trades and Agriculture, the jury and the delegated representative of the Promoter, at the operating office of Consorzio Delicious Cortina, via Stazione 3, 32043 Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL).
COMMUNICATION TO WINNERS AND PRIZE-GIVING
Prizewinners will receive a message by email informing them of their win by Tuesday, 30th April 2024.
Communication of prizes won by minors will be sent to a parent or legal guardian.
Together with their acceptance of the prize, the winners must send a copy of a document of identity to the organising secretary (Consorzio Delicious Cortina, via del Mercato 14, Cortina d'Ampezzo 32043 (BL) or by PEC (certified post) to the following address: deliciouscortina@pec.it
The winners must notify the organising secretary at info@cortinadelicious.it of the days on which they wish to use their prize at least one month before their actual arrival, in order to organise their stay in good time.
The prize must be used from Friday 7th June 2024 to Sunday 22nd September 2024, excluding the month of August. The winner must use the prize in the same hotel or mountain refuge, on the basis of the availability of the mountain refuges and hotels participating:

The availability of the hotels and the mountain refuges will be checked and winners will be notified of their availability by the organising secretary.

NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION
If a prize is not allocated or the winner does not communicate his acceptance of a prize in the way envisaged by the regulations by the required date, or the prize is not used by Sunday, 22nd September 2024, the same or an alternative prize of equal value will be given to the non-profit organisation FONDAZIONE MAGICA CLEME ONLUS – Headquarters: Via San Gottardo 83 - 20090 Monza - MB - P. DECLARATIONS AND GUARANTEES
SERVER AND DATABASE OF PARTICIPANTS
The server collecting and managing all the data relating to the competition is based in Italy.
The promoter undertakes to provide the checking authorities, on request, with the database relating to the event.
EXCLUSIONS
All employees of the company and all those who have a professional connection with the organisation of the competition in question are excluded from participating.
RIGHT TO CLAIM VAT
All rights are waived to the application of VAT on the winners as stipulated in Italian Law No. 600, art. 30, of 29th September 1973.
PERSONAL DATA
Personal data of the participants will be gathered in a database for the processing and selection of the winners, in accordance with Italian Law No. 196 of 30th June 2003, “Regulations for the protection of personal data”. Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the handling of personal data exclusively for the purposes of this competition.
GUARANTEES, IMPLEMENTATION AND CHECKS
This prize-awarding competition will be staged in accordance with Italian Law No. 430 of 26th October 2001, and following the instructions indicated in Circular no. 1/AMTC of 28th March issued by the Ministry for Productive Activities.
